Even before the new year began, a Twitter bot monitoring activities related to Waking Titan and Hello Games announced upcoming developments for Chapter 2 of Waking Titan, an immersive alternate reality game. The community was eager to dive into Season 2, anticipating that the puzzle would unveil clues about the forthcoming No Man's Sky update. However, a last-minute riddle from the developers indicated that the excitement was premature, and players would need to wait a few more weeks. This news left many in the community feeling disappointed or frustrated due to the lack of communication, especially since the last update, Atlas Rises, had been released in the summer of 2017.

To celebrate the second anniversary of the No Man's Sky France community and the new update, a dedicated website was created to centralize all information regarding No Man's Sky, especially news in French. The site attracts nearly 10,000 visits each month, and the community expressed gratitude to those contributing to its success. The website has undergone significant improvements since July, enhancing its functionality and user experience.
