The publishing house CREATIVE PUBLISHING has released the book "Contemporary Ukrainian Garden".

Details

The publication is dedicated to modern Ukrainian landscape design and the individuals shaping a new culture of gardening in Ukraine.

The authors of the book are publisher Lyudmyla Bondar and the founder of the community "In Love with the Garden" Nadiya Trofymenko.

The edition includes 32 garden projects from various regions of Ukraine and the stories of 25 landscape designers and gardeners. Among them are natural gardens, flower meadows, private parks, and small experimental spaces.

The book features works by Olena Balzhyk, Viktoriya Kononenko, Andriy But, Oksana Yazykova, Serhiy Makhno, Yevhen Plyusnin, and other authors. Notably, Oksana Yazykova's project "Living Field" was included in the list of the 300 best gardens in the world according to Phaidon.

According to Nadiya Trofymenko, the book presents the Ukrainian garden as a living space that evolves amid war and the rethinking of values. Its heroes work with nature, support biodiversity, and reject the excessive use of chemicals.

The publishing house also emphasizes that today gardens are increasingly becoming places of restoration, tranquility, and aesthetic experience for Ukrainians.

The book is already available for order on the CREATIVE PUBLISHING website.
